Amelia & Truett decided this was a good idea... She climbed all the way up by herself with Truett there to catch her if she fell.

Hiking on the parkway

Since we were out we decided to take another little drive on the parkway. We stopped at an overlook and took a little hike.

Nature Center in Asheville

For a change of pace and to get out of the hospital for a while we took Amelia to the Nature Center in Asheville. She loved the animals. The brown goat she is petting in the picture followed her around the whole time she was in with the animals.

Chillin' on the chili

Yes - we had lunch at Chilis.... at least it was a break from McDonald's...

We took a break from the hospital on Friday and went to McDonald's to play and have some ice cream. It was a HOT day so the ice cream melted quickly!

Waiting at the hospital on the day of the surgery.... lots and lots of waiting.... We played hopscotch inthe hallway with the colored tiles on the floor.

Truett said she shucked peas like a pro. There were two beautiful butterfly bushes planted next to the porch. There were butterflies everywhere.
