One more snow day

We had another snow day yesterday. That makes three so far this year! And it stayed cold enough yesterday and overnight that we still have snow on the ground today. That NEVER happens. (But it won't last long - our temps are supposed to be in the 70's this weekend!) Our road

As many times as I've traveled with Amelia - I never thougth to take a picture of her on an airplane. This time we did. She is absolutely 100% the best traveler I've ever met. (And so is Marianna)

Today is Amelia's 4th Birthday!!!!

Amelia was born on January 29, 2005 at 10:30pm.
She weighed 6 pounds and was 50cm long.
This picture was taken by Amelia's foster mother Connie when she was 8 days old. It is the first picture we ever saw. It was love at first sight for us.

A big bowl of snow...

Amelia has been eating snow all day. In fact - we have a freezer full of it so she can have her snow sundaes even after it melts outside.

These were all taken about 7am this morning. We got to wake up to snow on the ground and more still falling. Amelia was more excited about the snow than she was about Christmas.

Even Marianna got to go out and enjoy the snow.

1-12-08 Panthers Playoff Game

It was a terrible game - but we had fun... rain and all...

1-11-09 Asheville

We met Grandma & Grandpa in Asheville for a night of swimming and fun. Sorry - no pictures of Grandma & Grandpa... but they were there... really... Amelia says THANK YOU for the early brthday presents and the fun we had swimming (even thought the pool was more like a hot tub...)!

Daddy's birthday 1-6-09

Amelia was so excited for Truett to open his present. This was the first gift she had picked out for either of us all on her own. We bought it about 2 weeks before his birthday. It almost killed her not to tell him what it was. She was so proud of it!

In this one she is wearing the "box" that we used to wrap the backpack. She thought that was hilarious...until she tried to sit down with it on and got stuck.
