I was going to post Mother's Day pictures today - but I forgot... They are all on Truett's camera - not mine. So it's swing set pictures instead!

Ballerina Preview

Amelia got her pictures taken for the ballet recital on Monday. When we got home she just had to try them on to show daddy... Here's a preview.

Zoo Pictures

We had beautiful weather for our trip to the Zoo on Saturday.

The animlas were having a sleepy day so we didn't see them doing much. But Amelia and Jacob had a blast in the "Kidzone". There were all sorts of hands on activities for kids of all ages.

This was a pond where you could use nets and strainers to find treasure. The treasure turned out to be plastic animals and fish - but it was fun trying to find them.

This was a garden area where kids could "plant" things.

Amelia really liked the chalkboard wall. Truett traced her body and then she had fun coloring it in. They also had water to paint and spray with.

Then there was the playground.

All of the animla exhibits were wall to wall people. We ended up spending most of our time in the kids area and on the playground.

There was a carousel with all kinds of animals. Ameila wanted to ride the polar bear - but she got a rhino instead.

Back in the kidzone they had a pretend vet station too. Amelia had a good time playing with the animals. She likes to be the Dr.

Save the best for last - a HUGE sand play area. This was a favorite with all the kids. There were at least 5 different metal tubs filled with sand and rocks. Scattered everywhere were cooking and digging impliments of every kind - cake pans, pots, spoons, strainers, bottles, jars, cups - andything you could think of - it was there.

I think I'm going to start sharing some of the pictures that we get from our customers. Every seems to be interested in seeing some things of mine that actually make it into stores.

Both of these frames use exclusively Culp fabrics.

EASTER

Here is Amelia right after she found her Easter baskets.



Here she is after she discovered that underneath all of the paper shreds there was CANDY!!!

The Easter Bunny left her a trail of eggs that lead her to her baskets. Then she realized that they were filled with CANDY too!!!

Amelia, Jacob, Amber and Abby all did an Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma Hoyle's after lunch. With the help of Amber and Abby, Amelia found the most eggs.

Dyeing Easter Eggs

We didn't do many Easter eggs this year - but it was still fun. Mamaw and Poppi helped too!

There was a sheet of stickers with eyes and mouths in the coloring pack so Amelia had fun making egg faces.

Easter Egg Hunt

Amelia got to go to an Easter egg hunt at Mamaw & Poppi's church this afternoon. She got all sorts of goodies and a pretty white bunny too.

A visit from Steven, Alecia and Austin

Aunt Trudy and Uncle Mike brought Steven, Alecia and Austin to our house last weekend for a quick visit. They all had fun playing dress up!!! Amelia, Austin & Alecia did a fashion show.

Steven and Mike made good use of the cheerleader pom poms.

Steven was able to find some "boy" toys mixed in with all the "girl" stuff in Amelia's room.
